In January of 1994, J. Douglas Miller and Daniel H. Diepenbrock combined 29 years of trial experience to form Miller & Diepenbrock, P.A. While both lawyers have handled a wide range of legal matters, the firm was established because of a perceived need for a firm in Southwest Kansas and the Oklahoma Panhandle dedicated to litigation. The firm's caseload and client base grew rapidly and, as a result, two more lawyers were added shortly after inception. Linda Powell joined the firm in 1994, followed one year later by Grant Shellenberger.

Miller & Diepenbrock, P.A. represents clients in matters of insurance defense, personal injury, medical malpractice, domestic and divorce matters, accidents and other disputed matters, including criminal cases. The firm also represents and advises corporate and business clients, as well as the Board of Commissioners of Seward County, Kansas. Mr. Miller and Ms. Powell concentrate their practices in the state and federal courts of Kansas, while Mr. Diepenbrock and Mr. Shellenberger practice law and try cases in the state and federal courts of Kansas and Oklahoma.
