McNamara Law Office offers advice and representation for the legal needs commonly faced by individuals and small- to medium-sized businesses. Our Kingwood, Texas firm practices in family law and divorce, estate planning and probate, and small business litigation. We have the experience of a large Houston law firm without the commute. We offer a reduced fee consult in family law matters and to discuss writing a will.

Attorney Brian McNamara, formerly a partner with Bivin & McNamara, L.L.P., has been in practice since 1992, and during those years has conducted much successful litigation on behalf of businesses and individual clients. Brian maintains an extensive family law practice and handles estate planning, probate, and business disputes. He has tried jury and bench trials in all levels of Texas trial courts.

Mr. McNamara understands when tough litigation is necessary, and when settlement is appropriate. He also understands the nuances of family law litigation, which almost always involves 'litigants' who once shared a common life. If children are involved, the parents may still have to make decisions together long after the litigation is concluded. Such matters require a special insight and thoughtful counsel, which Mr. McNamara has developed over more than 15 years of practice. 

He is a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas, the State Bar's Litigation and Family Law sections, the Houston Bar Association's Family Law and Litigation Sections, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and has held several officer positions in the Northeast Harris County Bar Association, including president.

A Legal Team for Every Case

Attorney McNamara works closely with his legal assistants, acting as a legal team in every case. Because his legal assistants are an essential part of that team, they have complete knowledge about your case, and on those occasions when Attorney McNamara is unavailable, your legal assistant can usually answer questions about the status of your case. Of course, Mr. McNamara is always in charge, and important decisions are never made by anyone but him -- in consultation with you.
