Taking care of your legal matters can be stressful and uncomfortable. Before making decisions you should thoroughly understand your options, ask questions, discuss alternatives and minimize your costs. We try to provide all the information you need to make the best decisions for you and your family. We help you make informed choices. If you hire me as your attorney, I will prepare and explain the appropriate legal documents, and keep you informed about the status of your case.

As an attorney with twenty-five years of experience, I am committed to providing quality legal services in an efficient and ethical manner. This means that my staff and I:

  • Treat you with respect
  • Are attentive and responsive to your requests and needs
  • Search for the most efficient way to resolve your legal problems
  • Look out for and protect your legal interests
  • We keep our clients informed on the progress of their case. We will respond to your telephone calls promptly. We provide our clients with the personal attention that usually only can be obtained in a smaller law practice. I am the attorney who meets with you to discuss your legal problems and who represents your interests in court, if necessary.

Legal services can be expensive. We are sensitive to the costs of effective legal representation. We evaluate each client's case by comparing costs versus benefits. We try to accomplish our clients' goals within their budgets. Depending on the type of legal help you need, our fees may be hourly, a fixed fee, or a percentage contingent upon recovery.

For our clients involved in litigation, usually it is in their best interests to resolve their case through negotiation or mediation. Most cases settle out of court. Negotiation or mediation are constructive alternatives to costly court battles and give the client a prominent role in the outcome. We are committed to facilitating the informed, consensual, and affordable resolution of legal problems.

However, this does not mean that we avoid going to court to advocate for or to enforce your legal position. You can be assured that if a fair settlement cannot be reached, we will aggressively represent you at arbitration or trial.

If you want personal service from an attorney who is committed to helping you resolve your legal problems, please contact our office. We welcome the opportunity to serve your legal needs.

How do I choose a lawyer?

    Consider the following:
Comfort Level - Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
Credentials - How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
Cost - How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
City - Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

    • How long have you been in practice?
    • How many cases like mine have you handled?
    • How often do you settle cases out of court?
    • What are your fees and costs?
    • What are the next steps?
