Law Firm Overview

The law offices of LePore Luizzi, located in Brick, New Jersey, handles a wide variety of matters arising in our practice areas of Personal Injury, Family Law, Workers Compensation, Real Estate, and Municipal Law. We represent clients throughout the State of New Jersey, particularly Ocean and Monmouth counties.

The law firm was established in July of 1987 in Brick Township located in Ocean County, New Jersey as the solo practice of James LePore. Mr. LePore worked as a successful litigation attorney and Certified Civil Trial Attorney handling both plaintiff and defense cases for another law office. Having spent every summer of his life at the Jersey Shore, he had always dreamed of living and working at the beach, and realized his dream in 1987. His vision was to develop a law firm that specialized in all types of litigation, but also performed a general practice to serve all the needs of the local community. Mr. LePore is now semi-retired and serves the firm in a specialized manner, assisting in complex litigation such as medical malpractice.

In June of 1993, Peter J. Luizzi became a member of the firm. Peter came from a large Newark firm, Tompkins, McGuire & Wachenfeld, and soon thereafter, became partner. At Tompkins, Peter gained plaintiff and insurance defense experience, particularly in larger, complex matters. After joining the firm, Peter developed a diverse client base which includes the Brick and Herbertsville First Aid Squads and several insurance companies and local businesses, focusing his practice primarily in personl injury and workers' compensation. He also handles real estate and municipal court matters.

In 1995, James LePore's younger brother, Joseph G. LePore, joined the firm. Joseph was the former law clerk of the Honorable Peter J. Doyne in Bergen County. Joseph became partner soon thereafter and has cultivated a broad client base that focuses primarily on personal injury, family law, general litigation for large and small companies, as well as individuals, municipal court and automobile accident insurance collections (PIP benefits) for accident victims and medical providers. He also handles real estate matters.

In September of 2003, the firm added Sarina Gianna as an associate. Sarina had been a law clerk at the firm for three years while attending Seton Hall Law School prior to joining the firm full time after her graduation. Sarina handles a variety of litigation matters, particularly focusing on personal injury, workers' compensation and family law. She also handles real estate and municipal court cases as well as PIP matters.

LePore Luizzi has established a presence in Monmouth and Ocean counties, and handles personal injury cases in every county in New Jersey. The firm's practice has also expanded to family law, worker's compensation, residential and commercial real estate, municipal law, traffic violations, wills, and contract disputes. LePore Luizzi is openly involved in the community and is active in the Brick Chamber of Commerce.
