Our offices are located in historic downtownCharleston , the heart of business, commerce and government in West Virginia . In 1993, Attorney Harry F. Bell, Jr., left one of West Virginia's oldest, largest and most successful civil litigation law firms to form is own firm. Mr. Bell had the goals of providing personal, aggressive high-quality legal services to his clients in the most effective fashion possible. These goals continue as a strong force in guiding how the firm represents its clients. Shortly after forming, Mr. Bell was joined by attorney William L. Bands as an associate in 1993. Mr. Bands became a partner on January 1, 2000. We have always emphasized the representation of businesses and individuals in complex civil litigation matters throughout West Virginia, including matters involving personal injury, wrongful death, defective drugs & medical devices, medical malpractice, insurance claims and consumer products as well as commercial and contract disputes.
