This is the team you need on your side.. I needed someone to make sure I?d be taken care of & not taken advantage of as I heal from multiple injuries.. They took care of everything involved in my case all I had to do was sign my paperwork.. They will explain everything.. Keep you informed & give you the best strategy to win your case..

Someone must?ve paid to get these reviews posted in my opinion. Worst law group ever, poor communication skills, lack of urgency, make you do all their work. Disgusted with this Firm. The lawyer doesn?t even know my name it?s been 4 months hired. No genuine care, sell you a dream. Says they care for each person the same, false, my attorney hasn?t given me the time of day.

I am very disappointed This law firm has had my cases for almost one year and the service I received is very distasteful, with no respect or regard for the client/Customer. I had 2 previous attorneys, and the service was similar hence the reason I switched. When I called this attorney's office, I made it clear why I was switching, and they promised I would not experience the same treatment. At first, I was assigned and after the first week every time I called, I would hear that she just stepped out, this went on for several months until one day I called and was finally told she no longer worked there. The Attorney on my case at first would respond to me when I reached out, but she stopped, when I sent her an email she responded whenever she felt whatever she felt. I recently was supposed to have a hearing, normally I would get a call the day before or the day of the hearing, did not receive any calls, when I called the office, I was first informed she was out of the office and I would have to wait until she returns the following week, I asked how was I supposed to wait until the following week when I had an a hearing coming up that Friday. I was then transferred to a paralegal who informed me that she believed I was assigned a new attorney for that hearing because the attorney on the case was out of office. I asked for the attorney's name and number, and she stated she could not give me the attorney would call me on the day of the hearing which no one did. I did not receive a call from the attorney or the judge on the day of the hearing and I sat right by my phone the whole time, neither were there any missed calls. I called the law office 15 minutes after the scheduled hearing time and explained that neither the attorney or the judge called me for my hearing. The paralegal who answered the phone told me maybe the attorney did not need me and every attorney does things differently, I asked her again for the name and phone number of the attorney and she told me again she could not disclose that information and that the attorney did not work with their office. I reached to another law firm to take my case away from this law firm and he told me knew my attorney and would speak with her before he took and yes, I should have gotten a call in regard to the hearing that day. Apparently, after he reached out to my attorney, she called me the following week to inform me that nothing had happened on my case because the judge stated that she called me and no reply, I basically had my phone in my hands all that time waiting, and no one calls and no missed call from anyone. She promises this will never happen again, I informed her about the length of one of the cases that its too old she agrees and stated she would reach out for permanency, it's 2 months since we discussed that, and one doctor still did not receive any request from her until I sent him my copy from the other doctor 2 days ago. I also reached out to her office last week to request an update and she did not respond to my request. I have medical records to prove my disability and levels thereof yet when she is speaking on the phone to me, she said according to you, you have this and that. What kind of injured or disability attorney is this clearly unethical? Yesterday I received a substitute retainer form from her office yesterday, requesting my signature for another attorney to represent me which no one from her office discussed with me, again unethical.

I found David and his team at the Klein Law Group through FindLaw and they are top notch. They provided great advice and helped me to get all of the compensation I was entitled to.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
